Brayton Knolls Homeowners Association Minutes 4/14/05 I. Board Functions A. 7:40 pm: President calls meeting to order B. Board Members President President, Alicia Slavin Secretary, Lisa Clark Treasurer, Sara McQueeny II. Landscaping Bids A. Alicia asks for sealed bids to be submitted to board before next board meeting B. Discussion of Kennedy coming out to walk Alicia through common and detention areas. III. Announcement of Association Committees A. Social Committee This will consist of four homeowners and one board member. This committee will organize any social events that the B.K. association wishes to have. There are two positions remaining on this committee. B. Committee to Report and Enforce Violations One position remains on this committee C. Committee for Community Garage Sale Four positions remain open on this committee. D. Committee to Develop and Maintain a Community Directory Four positions remain open on this committee. F. Committee to Organize Purchase and Maintain Subdivision Entrance Sign This Committee will design, get estimates for entrance way sign, and plant and upkeep entrance way on Courtney Lane and route 23. One position remains open on this committee. G. Committee to Maintain the Cleanliness of the Common Areas This committee will organize occasional walks through the common areas and dispose of any trash found in these areas. This committee is full. H. Committee to Reduce Speed Limit on Route 23 This committee has three positions currently open I. Committee for Neighborhood Watch Three positions remain open on this committee. IV. Homeowner Concerns A. Changing the bylaw to increase the size of sheds B. Dropping the utility trailer ban C. Please specify what the village considers a commercial vehicle t D. Homeowners that will not be fencing should keep dogs in rear yard leashed E. Do not leave dogs unleashed or unattended for long periods of tiMe F. Changing the fence bylaw for taller fences (especially for people with dogs and pools for safety reasons) G. Check with village to find out if chain link is okay for dog run H. Homeowners would like Holiday decorations to be removed in a timely manner I. Children at Play signs J. Suggestion to contain recyclables and trash better especially on windy days K. Suggestion to plant on center islands of cul-de-sacs to beautify Suggestion to start petition to remove light poles in middle of bike paths along Courtney Lane L. Suggestion to put Marengo Aldermen' email addresses on BK website M. Suggestion to send out voters ballots to change any bylaws by mail 7:40 pm Meeting Adjourns
